Our team is looking for a Software Engineer with a “can-do” attitude as well as the passion and enthusiasm needed in a fast-paced and demanding industry. If technology, problem-solving, systems thinking and software development gets you excited, this opening is for you.
ComX has the goal of ramping up the development of our SaaS product significantly in 2022, and therefore the role is a rare opportunity with large potential for future growth in the company.
- Collaborating with your peers from product, design, and engineering on a cross-functional, outcome-based team to craft and deliver on OKRs
- Help to build the backbone of our cloud-based platform
- You will collaborate with team members on planning, code review and pairing
- You will take ownership of components and projects through their entire lifecycle
- You will take an active part in building up the engineering culture
- Exercising and improving ComX’s engineering practices such as refactoring, pairing, code reviews, collective code ownership, containers, IaC, CI/CD, observability.
In a true start-up fashion, you may end up helping across departments and tackling many different tasks. Within our fast-paced environment, our team supports each other to remove roadblocks and tackle issues when needed.
What are the must-haves for this role:
You are a software engineer who is genuinely interested in programming, i.e. you know a number of languages including Python and TypeScript
You have extensive experience in writing clean code and reviewing code
You are fluent in Python and SQL/NoSQL databases
Communicating in a high-level language with Product about the outcomes, issues, blockers and priorities, in order to provide clarity in all levels about the situations/tasks.
3+ years of experience building services in a multi-tenant SaaS environment
